A source told Deir Ezzor 24 network that 86 young men from Deir Ezzor were arrested during the security campaign Assad regime’s security branches carried out in the city’s neighborhoods in the past days.
The source added that Deir Ezzor province’s police chief, Major General “Ibrahim”, himself supervised the searches for and arrests of young men during the campaign, that was launched for the purpose of forced conscription.
Police patrols accompanied by joint patrols from all security branches in Deir Ezzor began a campaign of arrests earlier this week, targeting young men who are in the age of compulsory military service in Deir Ezzor city.
