On Wednesday, September 30, the 47th Regiment militia conducted intensive patrols and set up many checkpoints, some of them temporary ones, in all the neighborhoods of Al-Bukamal city, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.

Our correspondent said that this state of alert remained until late Wednesday evening, and continued but at a lower rate in the next morning. The patrols and checkpoints focused on the bus station area in Al-Bukamal city, searching all the vehicles going in and out of the city.

The reasons for this security tightening, conducted by the 47th Regiment militia in al-Bukamal, are still unknown.
