Accurate information was received by the Security Directorate in the city of Al-Bukamal indicating that unknown parties had hidden anti-aircraft missiles inside a house, in preparation for smuggling them out of the country.
Based on this information, specialized units carried out a well-planned raid that resulted in the seizure of SAM-7 missiles.
The confiscated weapons were seized, and the competent authorities have begun investigations to pursue all those involved in the case, with the aim of arresting them and bringing them to justice.
The Ministry of Interior affirmed that it will continue to confront all smuggling operations and illegal activities, and to take all necessary measures to ensure the country’s security and stability.
