It was not possible to open the land crossing in the town of Salhiya, north of Deir Ezzor, between the Assad regime and the SDF, yesterday, Sunday, due to the absence of the SDF delegation, according to a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
According to the reporter, despite the presence of the head of the security committee of Assad’s forces and the Russian general, the opening was canceled due to the SDF’s backwardness, awaiting its opening in the coming days if no new objection occurs.
It is noteworthy that engineering equipment from both sides rehabilitated the crossing and established two points for the Fourth Division and customs on the Assad regime side, and a point for a private contractor on the SDF side.
