On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, An International Coalition delegation along with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Commander Luqman visited the General Surgery Hospital in the city of Ash-Shahil, eastern Deir Ezzor.
The delegation held a meeting with the administration of the hospital and apologized for the recent assault on the hospital by SDF’ fighters, as on March 6, 2021, SDF fighters stormed the hospital, beat medical staff members, and broke equipment and furniture. The delegation promised that such assaults will not repeat.
The delegation vowed to pay for the damage caused by the assault.
