An element of the National Defense Militia was killed and several others were injured last Friday 6-3-2020 in Deir Ezzor when an explosive device exploded under their vehicle in Raqqa countryside, according to pro-regime pages.

Informed sources from Deir Ezzor city told Deir Ezzor 24 network that the device is from Daesh remnants, and the explosion was not planned.

As a result of the incident, the elements of the National Defence Militia were confused and angry, and asked for more safety measures to protect them.

It is indicated that the National Defense Militia includes local elements, who are pushed by Assad’s forces and the Iranian and Russian militias to fight on the front lines during battles.

The killed:
Hassan Ahmed Al-Hmeidi
The injured:
1. Mohammed Faisal Al-Shlash
2. Abdullatif Aiyash al-Turki
