The head of the Central Authority for Control and Inspection branch in Deir Ezzor conducted an inspection visit today to the wheat collection center in the city of Al-Mayadin, accompanied by the inspector responsible for overseeing the implementation of the monitoring plan.
The visit comes as part of the ongoing oversight of the 2025 grain purchasing and storage plan in Deir Ezzor Province, with direct field supervision.
The tour aimed to monitor the collection process, assess the technical and administrative status of the center, review the mechanism for receiving wheat from farmers, ensure compliance with approved standards, and observe any issues related to storage quality, sterilization, and organizational procedures.
Officials also reviewed the state of the records and sample documentation, verified the application of regulations governing weighing, sorting, and collection operations, and spoke with several farmers and staff about workflow and procedures.
