The administration of the National Hospital in Al-Mayadin, in cooperation with the Health Directorate of Deir Ezzor has reopened the medical incubator unit after more than eleven years of closure.
This unit is considered a vital addition to the hospital’s maternity services, as it provides essential medical care for premature and newborn infants, equipped to handle critical cases.
It offers advanced treatment services, including phototherapy for jaundiced infants, and the ability to perform blood exchange procedures when needed, along with close monitoring of childbirth cases to ensure the safety of newborns.
The reopening of the unit is expected to raise the level of medical services provided to infants and relieve families from the burden of seeking treatment centers outside the city.
