The Iranian-backed Fatemiyoun militia prevented a group of residents of the city of Al-Mayadin, east of Deir Ezzor, from returning to their homes, according to a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.
Our reporter said that members of the Fatemiyoun militia prevented a group of residents from entering their homes on the outskirts of the Tammu neighborhood after the Revolutionary Guard militia withdrew from them about 3 months ago and handed them over to their owners. The residents were surprised by the Fatimiyoun militia’s warning not to return to their homes under any circumstances or they would face arrest.
The Fatemiyoun militia had redeployed its members and headquarters in the city of Al-Mayadeen about two months ago, a long period after its departure from it.
