Agricultural associations in Deir Ezzor face a fine of 500 million SYP

The Administrative Judiciary issued a decision imposing a fine of 500 million SYP on agricultural associations in the areas controlled by the Assad forces in Deir Ezzor, on the pretext of not supplying wheat to the state for the 2020 agricultural season.
The fine is distributed according to the cultivated areas of the associations, according to the statistics of the Directorate of Agriculture. The debt has been rescheduled in the accounts of the agricultural associations, the Farmers Union and through the Agricultural Bank, to meet the prescribed amounts from the accounts of the cooperatives from the wheat and cotton seasons.
