The Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia began digging long trenches around its military points in Al-Bukamal desert, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
Our reporter said that the militia also began digging trenches around the oil wells it controls in Deir Ezzor, after receiving information from the Iranian Security Office about the possibility of ground attacks from Al-Tanf area.
He added that a number of Iranian-backed militia points were provided with thermal cameras and modern wireless communication devices.
These security measures by the Iranian-backed militias in Deir Ezzor come in light of a military escalation between Iran and Israel.
