Eight Civilians from Deir Ezzor including two women from Al-Misttaha and Abu Shahri were killed by unidentified gunmen in Maadan Atiq countryside in Al-Tibni area in the western Deir Ezzor countryside, local sources said.
According to the sources, the victims were abducted and killed by gunmen driving military pick-up vehicles after sunset on Friday 3-4-2020.
After the incident, sounds of clashes and explosions were heard in the area, following which the locals found the bodies of the victims with gunshot wounds, mostly in the head.
The area where the massacre took place is under the control of Assad’s forces and the Russian and Iranian militias, but till now it is not known who stand behind the crime.
