The Joint Presidency of the Executive Council in Northern and Eastern Syria has issued several decisions to confront the spread of Coronavirus.
The decisions were declared in a written statement issued by the Presidency:
(The curfew imposed by Resolution 29 on 19-3-2020, will be extended for 15 days from Tuesday morning, 7-4-2020, until 21-4-2020, and in addition to those exempted at the beginning of the curfew, the agricultural pharmacies, agricultural vehicle spare parts shops, and vehicle and agricultural machinery repair shops will also be exempted, provided they have to open from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m).
In the same vein, the Joint Presidency of the Executive Council in Northern and Eastern Syria issued a resolution relieving all the citizens in the Autonomous Administration from paying the bills of water and electricity for (May and June) as an assistance to them.
It is worth mentioning that the municipalities of Deir Ezzor in the eastern Euphrates have taken several measures in different areas to sterilize the main streets and public areas to control the coronavirus.
