Coalition forces launched 11 missiles targeting oil reservoirs ,belonging to ISIS, resulting in the damage of several ones located inside Al-Omar Oil field which is situated northeast the city of Al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzur,one civilian was killed also during the airstrikes.
The air raids were condcuted by the coalition forces at 1.30 am and lasted till 2.00 am yesterday.
The pumping of oil was stopped as the oil Distribution Reservoirs were damaged following the US-led airstrikes on the area.
ISIS sold oil through factories scattered in the vicinity of the oil field,It should be noted that Al-Omar oil field is considered as a major economic resource for the organization,furthermore,the oil field(Al-omar) is a key stronghold of ISIS and it also contains prisoners to be deported later on to other regions and cities.
