DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

Assad forces patrols arrested a number of people on the Al-Mayadeen-Al-Quria road in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.

Our reporter said that some of the detainees were forced to pay sums of money ranging between 100 and 150 thousand Syrian pounds in exchange for their release, for fear of being transferred to the security branches.

The detainees who did not pay were transferred to the security branches in the region, on multiple charges, most of which were unfounded.
