Transferring the optical cable route between Deir Ezzor and Aleppo in conjunction with the reconstruction of the Al-Siyasiyah Bridge

Communications crews in Deir Ezzor Governorate began work on transporting the optical cable linking Deir Ezzor and Aleppo Governorates, coinciding with the General Roads Corporation starting the implementation of the project to rebuild the Al-Siyasiya Bridge.

The works include implementing a new route for the cable and removing it from construction sites and ongoing engineering work in the vicinity of the bridge, with the aim of protecting the communications infrastructure and ensuring the continuity of services provided to subscribers.

These measures come in parallel with the bridge rehabilitation work, ensuring that the cable is avoided from being exposed to any possible damage or interruptions during the project implementation period, and maintaining the stability of communications services between the two governorates.
