Tal Hamis Government Bakery in Al-Hasakah Governorate has entered the continuous production phase, after completing the trial operation of modern machines, in a step aimed at making bread available for the people of the city and its countryside, and enhancing the stability of the distribution process.
Ali Khlaif, director of the bakeries branch in Hasakah Governorate, explained that the bakery has started operating with daily allocations of about 4,750 kilograms of bread, to meet the needs of the city of Tal Hamis, noting that the concerned authorities are considering transferring the allocations of a number of neighboring villages to the bakery, in response to the residents’ requests.
Khlaif explained that the bakery’s production capacity exceeds 10 tons of bread per day, which allows for expanding the scope of its use to include additional villages and towns, when the necessary allocations are approved.
The bakery branch in Hasakah Governorate operates approximately 22 bakeries, distributed across various areas of the governorate, with the aim of securing bread, enhancing production continuity, and meeting citizens’ needs.
