Several demonstrations took place in the villages of Al-Hamish, Al-Hussan and Jazirat Al-Bu Shams, within the SDF-controlled areas in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, to protest the deteriorating living conditions, and to demand a reduction in fuel prices, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the demonstrators demanded an improvement in the service situation in their areas, such as improving the electricity situation, preparing roads, supporting bakeries with flour, and delivering water to all villages of Deir Ezzor, in addition to improving the security situation and combating drugs and smuggling operations.
The countryside of Deir Ezzor is witnessing difficult living conditions as a result of the collapse of the value of the Syrian pound against the US dollar, the low level of salaries and wages for workers, and the high prices of most basic materials.
