Exclusive:

A source told the Deir Ezzor 24 that Assad forces reached an agreement with the Iranian militias to enlist militias’ fighters in the Assad forces’ ranks.

The source added that the militias asked their fighters to provide school certificates, civil registrations extracts, blood donation cards, and four personal photos so that the militias issue the fighters lazer cards before enlisting the fighters in the Assad forces’ ranks. The militias’ fighters undergo a training course in the al-Dirij area in Rif Dimashq. The fighters return to Deir Ezzor after the course ends.

The source emphasized that the fighters who undergo the training course will receive two salaries one from the Assad forces and the other from the militias.

The reasons for this procedure are still unknown.
