New mines on the Hasakah–Al-Hawl road.. A danger threatening students and families

Road security patrols of the Internal Security Forces in Al-Hasakah Governorate found new mines planted on both sides of the Al-Hasakah–Al-Hawl road, during inspection and survey operations carried out by the specialized teams in the area.

Patrols also detected mines inside a school located along the road, posing a direct danger to residents, students, and passersby, especially as the school year approaches its start, requiring urgent measures to secure the school and its surroundings.

The security authorities called on residents to exercise the utmost caution, and not to approach any suspicious sites or objects or attempt to touch or move them, with the need to inform the competent authorities immediately to secure the place and deal with mines in accordance with the approved procedures, while the competent teams continue surveying and survey operations to detect other mines and secure the road and its surrounding areas.
