Raqqa Transport Directorate begins providing services to citizens in early October

The Raqqa Transport Directorate is preparing to begin providing its services to citizens from its main headquarters in the city of Raqqa, starting Thursday, October 1, 2026, after completing the rehabilitation, restoration, and technical equipment work for the headquarters.

The services that the Directorate will provide include a number of vehicle transactions, most notably the transfer of ownership (re-register ownership), replacement of registration plates, and conducting technical inspections of vehicles, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and instructions.

The Directorate is currently continuing to complete the equipping of citizen service halls and connect its departments to the central network of the Ministry of Transport, which contributes to organizing work, accelerating the completion of transactions, and reducing the burdens of movement and travel for citizens in Raqqa Governorate.

The Ministry of Transport is scheduled to announce later the documents and evidence required for each transaction, the mechanism for receiving visitors and organizing the centers, to ensure the provision of services in an organized and smooth manner.
