Syriatel returned to providing cellular communications services in Raqqa Governorate, after a break that lasted 14 years, as part of the work of rehabilitating and equipping communications sites, replacing «Arsil» network equipment and linking it to the national communications network.

The General Supervisor of the Communications Sector in Raqqa, Qutayba Al-Dalati, said that 27 out of 81 targeted sites in the governorate have been activated so far, while work continues to complete the activation of the remaining sites.

The return of the service comes within the framework of efforts to improve the quality of communications and Internet services and enhance their stability in the governorate, especially after the reconnection of Raqqa to the national communications network, which contributes to improving the level of services provided to subscribers and expanding the scope of cellular coverage.
