The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Al-Hasakah Governorate has begun receiving the wheat crop for the 2026 marketing season, through the centers of the Syrian Grains Corporation spread throughout the governorate.
The Directorate explained that 20 centers have been fully equipped to receive the crop, after completing all necessary technical and administrative requirements, ensuring the smooth flow of receiving operations and accelerating procedures for farmers.
The Directorate confirmed that this step comes within the framework of supporting the agricultural sector and facilitating the process of marketing the wheat crop, by providing geographically distributed receiving centers to reduce the burdens on producers and ensure that the crop reaches the relevant authorities easily.
Through these measures, the competent authorities seek to enhance the success of the current marketing season and secure a suitable environment for receiving the crop in a way that achieves the interests of farmers and supports food security.
