Rehabilitation of 41 damaged water stations in Deir Ezzor. Completion of the fifth plan and start of the sixth

The General Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater in Deir Ezzor, in cooperation with the “Furat” program and with the support of the US State Department, continues maintenance and rehabilitation work on water stations damaged by the rise in the level of the Euphrates River, with the aim of restarting 41 stations that were out of service.

The company completed the fifth plan of rehabilitation work, which included 11 medium-damage stations: (Hawama, Al-Tiana, Al-Shehail Al-Gharbi, Khesham, Al-Kashkiya Al-Awal, Mashekh, Al-Qouriya Al-Zawiya, Al-Isharah, Dablan, Sbikhan Al-Gharbiya, and April 17).

In parallel, the company began implementing the sixth plan, which includes dismantling the damaged pumps and engines and transporting them to maintenance centers, to carry out the necessary technical repairs on them, in preparation for returning them to service within the next few days.

These works come as part of the company’s efforts to address damage to water stations and ensure the continuity of drinking water services in the affected areas.
