Recently, a number of families returned to the village of Al-Faisaliah, north of the town of Tal Tamr in the Hasakah countryside, amid fears of the presence of mines and dangerous waste on the edges of the road linking the villages of Al-Faisaliah and Al-Manakh, with a length of about two kilometers.

The residents called on the concerned authorities to send specialized teams to comb the road and detect and remove mines and dangerous waste, stressing that their presence poses a danger to the residents and hinders the movement of basic services, especially water tankers and bread distribution vehicles.

Residents pointed out that securing the road and clearing it of hazardous waste is an urgent necessity to protect returning families, encourage the rest of the residents to return to their homes, and ensure that services and basic needs reach the village safely.
