Over the recent days, people operated an oxygen factory in the town of al-Kishkiyah in the al-Shaitat area, eastern Deir Ezzor.
People from the area volunteered to operate the factory that was named the al-Alawi factory. The factory will provide oxygen for the Deir Ezzor countryside. The oxygen will be used to treat people infected with Coronavirus (Covid-19) and those who have breathing problems.
The factory will produce highly pure oxygen as cylinders will be filled directly. Anyone will be able to fill an oxygen cylinder.
Operating the factory in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, east of the Euphrates coincides with increased Covid-19 cases in the area amidst an urgent need for oxygen to treat the infected people.
