DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The residents of the town of Taybeh in the countryside of the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, reclaimed agricultural land that had been under the control of the Iranian-backed militias for years, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network. Our reporter said that the land used to supply the city of Al-Mayadeen with all kinds of vegetables before the revolution, but the Iranian-backed militias took control of it and turned it into a military headquarters and prevented citizens from approaching it. Water was completely cut off from this land since 2011 and the land was irrigated for a limited period with well water, which led to the desertification of its soil and the complete drying of the land.
This land belongs to the Taybeh Association and is located near the Taybeh Bridge, which is a simple bridge belonging to the village of Al-Taas towards the town of Mahkan.
