A clash broke out between members of the National Defense militia (NDF) and members of a checkpoint of Assad forces’ 4th Division near the entrance of Mahkan village in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the clash started after members of the 4th Division prevented an NDF truck carrying looted properties from passing without paying money (as a tax).
These clashes have become more frequent in Deir Ezzor, and the NDF militia often takes a part in them.
