IRGC clashes with airforce intelligence in al-Bukamal

Clashes broke out on Wednesday, September 23, between members of the airforce intelligence and local members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia (IRGC) in al-Bukamal, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.

Our correspondent said that the two sides were on high alert in their headquarters and the neighborhoods they control, and that the IRGC militia arrested a number of the airforce intelligence members, and released them after several hours with signs of beating.

The state of alert continued until late at night. After the IRGC released the detainees, calm returned to the city.
