A new group of the Fatemiyoun militia arrived in Deir Ezzor province in recent days, a private source told the DeirEzzor24 network.

The source said that the new members were brought from Iraq to the Al-Mayadeen area in the presence of someone Abu Zainab Al-Afghani, the militia commander in Deir Ezzor.

The number of members of the Fatemiyoun militia in Deir Ezzor exceeded 1,500, most of whom are stationed in the Al-Mayadeen desert, the farms area, Al-Rahba, and the town of Ayyash, west of the city of Deir Ezzor.
