Hajj Askar holds a security meeting following his return to Al-Bukamal city in eastern Deir Ezzor

The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in Al-Bukamal, Hajj Askar, held a meeting with the leaders of the Iraqi Hezbollah militia, a private source reported to the DeirEzzor24 network.

The source said that the meeting was held at the militia headquarters in the Al-Jami’at neighborhood in the city of Al-Bukamal, with the leaders of the Iraqi Hezbollah militia, headed by the so-called “Haj Ahmed,” one of the officials of the military smuggling gateway between Syria and Iraq.

He added that the meeting was to study the cessation of the crossing due to the repeated bombing of the shipments entering? and to search for an alternative corridor that would be opened in complete secrecy to pass the necessary shipments of weapons. The idea of underground tunnels was presented to completely avoid the bombing.

This meeting is the first for Hajj Assar after his return to the city of Al-Bukamal two days ago.
