DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

In the past few days, Deir Ezzor has witnessed a great demand by farmers for rain-fed agriculture, “Al-Athi” after the recent rains that heralded a good season, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.

He said that this turnout coincided with the increase in plowing prices to 5,000 pounds per dunam, the rise in the price of barley and wheat seeds to 3,000 pounds, and the rent of land by 20%.

The rainfed crop seasons in the past years in Deir Ezzor were severely damaged due to poor rainfall and drought that struck the region.
