Rehabilitation work continues on the 20 kV medium-voltage line, which supplies a number of towns in the Albukamal countryside, including Soussa, Marashda, and Arqoub, all the way to Safafna, with the aim of raising the line’s readiness and improving the stability of electrical supply in the district.
Today, the workshops completed the installation and finishing concrete basis of five medium-voltage towers along the line’s route, in a step that contributes to pushing the rehabilitation work towards its final stages.
The work is scheduled to be completed tomorrow, by removing a number of existing posts and reinstalling them on the correct track of the line, to address points that need to be corrected and rehabilitation work completed.
These works come within the framework of efforts aimed at improving the conditions of the electrical network and raising its readiness, which contributes to ensuring a more stable electrical supply to the towns and villages benefiting from the line.
