Today, the Cypriot authorities announced the rescue of a boat carrying asylum seekers that had been lost at sea for days after setting off from the Lebanese shores.

The Deir Ezzor Network correspondent said that the boat included 60 people, including more than 20 from Deir Ezzor Governorate, who had set off from the Lebanese shores last Friday on a voyage to Europe, but contact with them was cut off after hours and their fate was not known. It became clear that a ship came across the boat by chance and helped. In transporting it to the Greek coast.

It is noteworthy that all the young men are in good health, and the Greek government is expected to announce the details of their rescue and their fate in the coming hours.
