Electricity crews, in cooperation and coordination with the forest station in Al-Mayadeen, began cutting and pruning a number of large eucalyptus trees on the Deir Ezzor – Al-Mayadeen road, with the aim of reducing the risk of their branches approaching medium and low voltage lines.
The work included the area extending from Al-Baloum Roundabout towards the Club Roundabout, where trees were pruned and branches extending and close to the electrical network wires were removed, which may pose a threat to the safety of the network and cause malfunctions or potential damage.
These works come within the framework of preventive measures aimed at protecting power lines, enhancing public safety, and reducing faults resulting from branches interfering with the network, which contributes to ensuring the continuity of electricity on the road and surrounding areas.
