Today, Saturday, Al Mayadeen City Council launched the first internal transportation trips in the city, by allocating three buses operating on three different routes, with the aim of facilitating the movement of citizens between residential neighborhoods, markets and vital areas, and alleviating the daily burdens of movement for residents.

Internal transport routes are distributed over three main lines:

The first line: starts from Ibn Aswad’s curve , passing through Taybeh Roundabout, the Agricultural Bank, Al-Saraya, Al-Jardaq Square, Al-Bakri Roundabout, the water station, and Al-Baloum Roundabout, all the way to the first Jazrat Al-Baloum at the checkpoint, and returns via the same path in the opposite direction.

The second line: starts from Al-Jardaq, passing through the Commercial Bank Roundabout and the intersection of 40th Street towards the roads, then the club roundabout and the industrial zone, all the way to the livestock market, before returning in the opposite direction.

The third line: starts from Al-Jardaq, passing through the intersection of 40th Street towards Al-Fanash, then the intersection of Al-Hal Market and Al-Masraf Roundabout, and returns via the same path.

Trips start daily at seven in the morning, at a rate of one trip every half hour, with buses running in both directions, allowing residents to move more easily between different areas of the city.

This step comes within the framework of efforts aimed at improving transportation services within the squares, facilitating citizens’ access to markets and public facilities, and reducing movement difficulties, which contributes to stimulating daily movement within the city.
