Today, Thursday 27-02-2020, Ambassador William Rubak, special adviser of the international coalition for Syria and representative of the U.S. State Department in northern and eastern Syria, met with Dr. Ghassan al-Yousef and Layla Al-Hasan, the joint presidency of Deir Ezzor Civil Council in Deir Ezzor.
The meeting addressed several points, most notably the continued struggle against Daesh and its cells, preventing the organization from reaching the oil sources, and the real guarantees to prevent any threats to the areas of northeastern Syria, especially eastern Euphrates, in addition to discussing how services, redevelopment and stability of the region are maintained to consolidate security.
