Al-Qaterji militia has doubled the number required to join it in the villages of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside under the control of the Assad regime, according to the correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 network.
The number of its affiliates in the town of Hatla has so far reached nearly 200 members, aged between 18 and 57 years, distributed in headquarters located in the Alwan neighborhood in the eastern Hatla, led by the so-called (Abu Rawaa), the official of the northern axis in the Qaterji militia.
While the number of affiliates in the town of Marat reached about 300 people, at the headquarters of the gas station in Hara (Al-Hawi), most of them are elderly. They were assigned the tasks of promoting the militia, similar to the village guards in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia.
The correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network said that the leader Sheikh “Hammoud Al-Bashir” was assigned to run the affairs of the militia in the Al-Taym field axis with financial and security matters.
It should be noted that the Qatirji militia greatly supported its ranks in Deir Ezzor, after its recent clash with Hamsho’s militia, and the latter’s attempt to rid it of the privileges it enjoyed in Deir Ezzor.
