Local sources indicated to D24 that a member linked with Daesh police in Deir Ezzor has fled to the Assad-regime controlled areas in the province.
The source said that Zakaria Hassan Salum Al-Shuwaibi, member of the Daesh security office in the city of Al-Mayadin, east Deir Ezzor, fled to areas held by the regime in Deir Ezzor and was transported to Damascus, where he has joined one of the security branches of the regime, the notorious Air Force Intelligence branch.
Zakaria was among those who suppressed the voice of the revolution in Deir Ezzor. He was accused of committing horrific atrocities against the people in the province after joining the organization and becoming one of its security members.
