The “Free Qoriya League” team implemented an initiative to collect an amount of approximately 7,000 US dollars to light the main streets of Qoriya city, east of Deir Ezzor, according to what the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network reported. Engineer “Ali Al-Hamed”, head of the Public Relations Office of Deir Ezzor 24, said that the city needs 200 solar-powered lighting bulbs, and the price of one bulb is 35 dollars, equivalent to 7,000, at a rate of 50 bulbs per street.

The head of the Public Relations Office, “Abdul Qader Ramadan Al-Darwish”, said that the council road from the municipality roundabout to the martyr “Ali Al-Matar” roundabout needs 70 bulbs to light it, and it is considered one of the most important main streets in the city.

It is worth noting that an amount of 6,000 dollars of the required amount was collected by the “Free Qoriya League” team from expatriates and those present in the city, and they are waiting to collect the full amount to start the project to light the streets of Qoriya.
