The Free Qoriya League team has launched a new initiative that consists of coordinating the return of families from the city of Qoriya who are in the camps in northern Syria, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 Network .
Our reporter said that the initiative was launched 3 days ago, and began with the stage of registering families, where 140 families from Qoriya were registered wishing to return to the city, including about 20 families ready to return immediately, while the majority of families are preparing to return after the end of the holy month of Ramadan, according to one of the initiative’s organizers.
Our reporter added that Saturday, February 8, has been set as the date for the first convoy to depart from the Jarablus camps to the city of Qoriya, where 3 large vehicles will be secured to transport furniture, in addition to buses to transport the residents.
Mr. Abu Safi Al-Qarani told Deir Ezzor 24, “Thanks to God and the efforts of the free people of Al-Quriyah, $2,500 was collected to support the campaign, and donations are ongoing to ensure the return of the people of Al-Quriyah and end a decade of displacement and suffering.”
