Al Mayadeen City Council announced the completion of the rehabilitation work of the earthen bridge linking the city to the towns of Al Hawaij and neighboring areas, in a step aimed at improving transportation and facilitating the movement of residents.
This bridge is a vital path in the area, as it has contributed significantly to ending the suffering of residents during their daily movement, especially after previously relying on ferries, and the hardship and additional costs they caused.
The project is expected to contribute to stimulating economic and service activity by facilitating the transportation of goods and citizens between areas connected to the bridge.
A number of residents expressed their satisfaction with this achievement, stressing that it facilitated their daily lives and commercial movement, despite being a dirt bridge, awaiting the complete completion of the rehabilitation work of the main bridge in the next stage.
