The Iranian militias in al-Bukamal city forced civilians to march around the city’s streets on the anniversary of the Iranian militias taking control of al-Bukamal, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent added that a number of commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia (IRGC), Hashd al-Shaabi militia, commanders of The Lebanese Hezbollah Militia, The Iraqi Hezbollah, Zainabiyon, and Fatimiyeon and representatives of other militias attended the celebrations in al-Bukamal.
The correspondent said that the members of Iranian militias chanted sectarian slogans within earshot of “Haj Sadiq” and some figures belonging to the militias.
Iranian militias took control of al-Bukamal in late 2017, with support of Russian aircraft and Assad’s artillery. Since that time, the militias have considered al-Bukamal as their capital in eastern Syria.
