Raqqa Specialized Children’s Hospital continues to provide free medical and pharmaceutical services to children, receiving between 250 and 300 outpatient visits daily, in addition to approximately 100 emergency cases, with the disbursement of approximately 200 free prescriptions, according to what was confirmed by the hospital’s head, Dr. Hussein Al-Okla .
Al-Okla explained that the hospital continues to provide health care to children in various departments, which contributes to reducing the burdens on families and enhancing the level of medical services in the governorate, within the available capabilities.
He pointed out that the hospital provided a total of 11,377 free medical services during the month of June 2026, including outpatient clinics, ambulances, incubators, intensive care, laboratory, radiology, surgeries, and the ward, in addition to dispensing 5,234 free prescriptions.
According to hospital statistics, the number of outpatient examinations reached 5,355, while the ambulance department received 3,405 cases, incubators recorded 189 cases, intensive care 95 cases, the laboratory provided services to 581 patients, the radiology department performed 725 x-rays, while 128 surgical operations were performed, and the ward recorded 899 admissions during the month
