Raqqa City Council issued a final warning to shop owners who occupy sidewalks and public roads, demanding the immediate removal of all violations, as part of preserving citizens’ right to use sidewalks and ensuring the smooth flow of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
The Council explained that this warning represents the last opportunity before launching a comprehensive campaign to remove all illegal occupations, stressing that the competent authorities will begin taking legal measures against violators, which include removing violations and imposing fines in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions.
The Council called on shop owners to adhere to instructions and cooperate with the relevant authorities, which would contribute to preserving the civilized appearance of the city of Raqqa, enhancing public safety, and ensuring a more organized and comfortable environment for citizens.
