Reopening secondary roads in Ras Al Ain Market and removing cement barriers

The Ras Al Ain District Administration began reopening the side roads in the city market, and removing the cement barriers that were erected and closed these roads over the past six years, in conjunction with adopting new arrangements to regulate the movement of vehicles and citizens within the market.

The roads were closed with cement barriers as part of security measures taken following a series of car bomb attacks targeting the city of Ras al-Ain.

The new measures include installing posts to mark vehicle routes, in addition to adopting a one-way traffic system, aiming to regulate traffic and maintain its flow within the market, taking into account security requirements and procedures.
