Rehabilitation and replacement of 2,050 meters of drinking water grids in the old airport neighborhood of Deir Ezzor

The General Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater in Deir Ezzor, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, continues to carry out rehabilitation and replacement work on parts of the drinking water networks in the old airport neighborhood in Deir Ezzor, with the aim of improving the network’s condition and restoring the dilapidated and out-of-service parts to work.

The works include replacing and rehabilitating water networks with a total length of approximately 2,050 meters and varying diameters, including 405 meters with a diameter of 200 mm, 590 meters with a diameter of 125 mm, 350 meters with a diameter of 110 mm, 350 meters with a diameter of 90 mm, and 350 meters with a diameter of 75 mm.

The project is being implemented amid the deterioration of parts of old networks and their being out of service, with the aim of improving the efficiency of the drinking water system and enhancing the continuity of water access to the residents of the neighborhood.

The project implementation work is scheduled to continue for three months, until the full scheduled work is completed.
