Today, the city of Ras al-Ain in the northern countryside of Hasakah witnessed a popular gathering at the Al-Jawza roundabout, rejecting the entry of the so-called “Asayish” forces into the city.

Dozens of residents gathered at the site in preparation for launching a protest march, during which they expressed their rejection of what they described as attempts to bring the forces of “Asayish”, the security section of the “SDF” militia, into the city, amid a state of tension and anticipation in the area.

The participants raised banners and chanted slogans confirming their rejection of any deployment or presence of these forces inside the city, stressing their adherence to their position rejecting any security changes imposed without local consensus, as they expressed it.
