Warplanes belonging to the Iraqi army on Thursday carried out airstrikes against Daesh positions in the countryside of Al Bukamal along the Syria-Iraq border. According to an official statement by the prime minister, the airstrikes were conducted at the request of Abadi.
In other news, Daesh has launched multiple attacks against regime forces and aligned militias near Al Mayadeen, inflicting heavy casualties upon them.
SDF, who are positioned in the Omar oil field, targeted Daesh-held Al Sussah town in rural Deir Ezzor using rockets, which led to the death of a woman and a man (civilians).
Two civilians were killed near the village of Al Hajna, in the north of Deir Ezzor, by unknown gunmen after the latter robbed them of all the money they were carrying.
