The child, Riyyan Al-Allawi, died in Al-Sussah town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside on last Friday due to a lack of food and medicine because of the siege imposed on the area as a result of the fighting between the SDF and Daesh.

This is not the first death of hunger, as the two children, “Musaab Al-Kuzbeer”, died on 30 December 2018, and “Raeida Al-Tabibi” died on 1/1/2019, in Al-Sussah town, due to lack of health care and dehydration.

It should be mentioned that the civilians in Al-Sussah and Al-Baghuz towns, which are under the control of Daesh, suffer from difficult humanitarian conditions such as lack of food and medical supplies, as the strikes by the Coalition and fighting against the organization are still going on.
